Casca 3: The Warlord

Description

Rescued from the waters of the seas around Britannia, Casca travels to Rome to find the city he once knew rotten and decaying.  Not wishing to see his homeland sinking to such depths, he travels east, seeking the homeland of his old friend Shiu Lao Tze, the land beyond the Eternal Wall.

What the Eternal mercenary finds however is a shattering revelation; a sect of religious fanatics called the Brotherhood of the Lamb are hunting him, wishing to inflict every punishment on him for his part in the crucifixion.  He escapes but with a painful memory of what it is like to run into the group of madmen.

And when he does reach the land of Chin, he discovers that his ageless life attracts the enmity of a woman who wishes to remain forever young, and that she will stop at nothing to inflict her own kind of retribution on the immortal soldier.
