Hey Tony, hope you are having a great new year and all is well. Just wondering what the new Casca books for this year will be…? Peace.

Hello, great new year thanks, book sales are crazy (Covid lockdowns have one benefit to me!!). This year the two Casca books will be as follows.
54: The Killer (1954-1960) set in the Algerian War
55: The Moor (710-732 AD) set in Spain

The Killer is a sequel to Casca 11: The Legionnaire and the prequel to Casca 16: Desert Mercenary, and The Moor is the last of the 5 stories I’d written prior to getting the contract as the Casca writer.

Excellent news! Really looking forward to both books…love getting my twice-yearly Casca fix. Are you still on a March-ish / September-ish publishing schedule?

hi, yes, that’s the general schedule. September is the driving force behind that, in order to get it out in time for the autumn/thanksgiving/Christmas run-in.

I just discovered this series last year, and am thrilled to catch-up so that I can enjoy your new releases this year! Thank you for your hard work!!!

P.S. Do you have any ideas for more books in China?

Hi Eric, are you the one posting reviews on Amazon? If so thanks for that! And I note the comment re: the pulling a face. Will cut it out from now on.

Thanks for your kind words. And China, not at present although there are possibilities into the future.

Mr. Roberts,
Yes, that’s me! There deserve to be more reviews, and I recommend your writing to others whenever I get the chance. Thank you so much for the message and reply about China! It means a lot.

Heh heh me too. Sales have been amazing since lockdown. 2020 was the best year ever and so far if 2021 carries on as it has done so far the first 7 weeks then its going to be even better.

I just finished “The Killer”. Great book as always. I can’t wait for the next one. When is that coming? No rush really. But when?? 😜
Also, I really like when Casca does something, or says something, and people see him do it or listen to him say it and it stuns them. It blows their minds. Like when he tells people about and area, and he knows about it, but they all know he has never been there before, or when had the sword fight with the officer in WWII, and his friends see that he is a master swordsman but can’t understand how.
Keep doing what you are doing. The stories are fantastic.
Thank you.

Thanks, glad you loved The Killer, it was one I always wanted to do for quite a few years. Next up… late Summer/early Autumn, The Moor, covering 710-732 AD, set in North Africa, Spain and France.

Hi Tony.. do you know if the books are available anywhere in native epub format?

Joel, the only versions these novels are available in are paperback and those are only available new from my site, nowhere else, so if anyone says my novels are new from a site that is not my website, then they are lying, or ebooks (kindle) from any amazon kindle site. No other versions exist.

Good Evening Tony,

I look forward to the release of ‘The Moor’ later this year.

I’ve recently started reading you new releases on Kindle, and in addition to having all the Barry Sadler books, I’ve begun listening to most of the ‘originals’ on Audible.

Have you given any thought to releasing your Casca books on Audible in the future?

Longtime Casca fan.

Rhett
