This topic has to be in there someplace. If so just give me a link to the old topic.

On the tops of my list are

No radiation deaths I can recall.
No plane crashes….

what else????

YES! Casca will die in the future. *Spoiler* But I won’t tell you any spoilers except it will be in the very last book- and beyond in fact

can’t recall any vehicular deaths, nor crushing, decapitation, or decompression (marine or space). He apparently cannot “starve to death” in the usual sense, or become fatally dehydrated.

*Ahem* Well Harri, thanks to Mr. Roberts encouragement and thanks to Yeshua’s guidance (I hope) I have been working on what I hope will be the final book of our hero? (antihero?) But I won’t tell you any more other than I’m up to page 40- in another 160 pages or so and Mr. Tony will hopefully edit the tar out of it (If I can talk him into it) Our Hero will be standing tall before “You Know Who”

Any Casca manuscript submitted would not come to me for editing or reviewing. I’m not the rights holder so I would have no say in the matter. The rights holder is the one who has the say in whether any story is to be included.

Unfortunately since last week he has fallen seriously ill and things may change at the top within the year. I don’t know yet, it all depends on the course of the illness and how the rights holder copes with it all. It may well be he could be too unwell to continue but I don’t know as yet. I’ll continue to keep you all updated as and when I can.

Morning Mr. Roberts! Yes Sir, I mostly understand per our exchange of emails. I am worried about the Publisher- if he becomes too ill then we’d have to find another publisher and that takes time after all attorneys charge by the hour and they are given associate status in the Brotherhood of the Lamb right? – Larry

Larry, the Brotherhood of the Lamb have all lawyers as associates. That well known legal firm Dacort, Mulcahey & Himmler are a prime example.

Seriously, the situation with ownership of the Casca franchise currently is that a company owns the rights (Eastaboga Entertainment Inc) and it is the owners of that company that decide policy. I suspect that a successor may be put forward to fill the void should the current president and CEO who is the unfortunate person concerned step aside.

I don’t particularly want the series to end anyway.

Harri, the series isn’t going to end like a traditional series. Mr. Robert’s is going to continue to fold, spindle, and mutilate our anti-hero/hero with a staple right in the middle of each adventure. I on the other hand, I’m working on a specific book which will be outside of the normal books and essentially starts with Casca’s death

Because of his unique nature, he cannot die a traditional death- and his death also has to co-inside with Christ’s return AND the end time prophecies right?

*Minor spoiler* If you read Casca and the accounts in the bible of which his life starts, then you de facto would have to believe in Christ or there wouldn’t be anyone for him to spear right? 😆

if you’re speaking of worships of sorts, I’m a druid. I don’t know if Jesus existed or not, or if he was a messiah or just an unlucky sophist. The books appear to assume the former, so I go along with that when reading them.

If any writer tries to kill off Casca while I am still capable of writing (on caveman walls) I WILL offer the franchise owner money to let me self publish a Casca story that WILL put him back in action for ANOTHER two-thousand years.
The idea came to me ten years ago.

As long as I’m writing the series Casca won’t die and take that as 100% concrete fact.

Tony- unfortunatly Our Mutual Buddy Casey will die- of course, along with the rest of humanity https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Z760XNy4VM&list=PLpYhtOHteZdLDprMSDKzY42Sz2RRsX9TN

You can see this happening in such vacation spots as Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami in the United States.

Right now, I’m as serious as a heart attack- I’m thinking our world society is at the upper right of the graph- then consider this planet can only handle about 13 billion people, we’re close to 8 billion now- which means in 15 years or so we’ll hit 13 billion.

*Spoiler* So Casey has to slug it out with a very old David Landries at the last battle of Armageddon,,,and thats where my book starts. (I took my cue from you Tony- you gave a somewhat spoiler in #40 when Gus & Casey met- so I kinda did the same thing)

Here’s a nosh of humor for our Buddy Casey- imagine him replacing Daffy Duck in this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17ocaZb-bGg

I’ve kicked around the idea of writing a short story of something like this!! 😛

I apologize for my harsh words. But if Tony ever chokes on a crumpet, I will try very hard to discourage the ending of the story line.
