Another topic has me thinking a Casca movie isn’t necessarily best. A HBO type series might be. First, they do things right. Second the pace could be set however the books translate best into TV. IMHO the first four books almost need to be in order but I’m tempted to insert a more modern tale like the Minuteman, Soldier of Gideon, The Legionnaire or even perhaps the controversial Immortal Dragon in there to “show the possibilities” to the viewer.

Book 1 gets four episodes
Book 2 God of Death gets three
Modern Mix in two episodes
Book 3 The Warlord gets two or three.
Book 4 Panzer Soldier probably deserves three.

Give me a good cliff hanger to end season one with so we get a season 2!

Yes, HBO do a good job of those sort of series. Since there are many books in the Casca series it would be best if they concentrated on only one or two books per episode or film. To cram more into one would make it a dog’s dinner.

This would be as big a hit as the Spardacus series. You can have different timeline history, sex, violence and the best story running. There a quite a few actors to choose from both male and female. This is a big ticket series. Best of luck getting it through. I would love to help you think about actors if you ever decide to get this going! Best of luck!
