Yes I read it and thought I can do better. So it pushed me to seek out the franchise owners and now here I am.
Yes humour is one of our greatest boons, you need to be living in a small island where it farking rains so much.

Casca 51 The Saracen. This one leads on from the end of Casca 19 the Samurai and ends immediately preceding Casca 22 The Mongol. It links both quite neatly.

Would have to look into that particular era – think he was in Vietnam certainly in ’65 and Desert Merc took place in ’62.

Hello Tony. I love you to death and you’ve got an enviable reputation- not too many people can write as many books as you have and not have a “dog”. But #50 was difficult to read, difficult to follow and wasn’t up to your normal standards.
I have never, ever said one negative comment about your writings in,,,what? 10, 14 years now? But,,,take #50 to the Vet and have that mutt put down.
Other than that, I have to wait another,,,what? 15 months before 51/52 or is it 52/53 to come out? I order 2 books at a time from you, from the website.

Larry, sorry you didn’t like 50. I suppose one cannot keep up the same standard all the time (Sadler certainly didn’t). 51 is out and 52 will be available around April next year.
