To buy or not to buy?

I’d like to humbly ask all you guys out there not to buy the paperbacks from Amazon.  I only get 25c per paperback sold on Amazon and cannot justify the time taken to research and write these stories if more and more people buy from Amazon.  I’d rather people buy from my website and then no money goes to the bulging coffers of Amazon and they throw me the scraps.

Thank you.

No more Amazon paperback sales from me

After Amazon fees hikes I no longer make any money from sales on amazon.  I lose 34p currently and really cannot afford to keep on selling paperbacks there.  Paper backs are always on sale from my own website www.casca.net so please buy there.  Kindle ebooks are unaffected and will still be on sale from amazon sites.

I’d ask all of you guys and gals out there to consider where your money goes before buying paperbacks from Amazon.  to the seller?  no, they go to Amazon execs and their shareholders.  Amazon is a buyers website, not a sellers.  I know sometimes it works out more expensive buying from my website shop than from amazon, and I can’t tell you where to get your Casca books or Kastania books or Siren books, but if you’d like to support the writer rather than a big corporation, my website is the place to get them from.

I would like to thank all of you for buying the Casca novels and my other books, as it keeps me going.  However if I relied purely on amazon sales, I would have gone under a long time ago.

Lombard is coming out end of September/start of October.  Keep your eyes peeled for updates.

Casca 49 draft finished

Yes, its now completed, the first draft, and is with the proofreaders.  Artwork is being done, too, and I expect things to be ready to shift in a few weeks for publishing.  For those of you who have got the books already, its the direct sequel to Casca 28: The Avenger.

I remember, speaking of Casca 28, having an argument at the time with my late publisher who was concerned about the cover, and I told him to keep it as the topless slave woman on the cover would help sell it.  He wasn’t sure but I was confident.  and to this day Casca 28 remains the only book in the series to have had boxes of it stolen by some eager thief….

Fed up with your old tattered copies of The Warlord, lost your copy and want a replacement but don’t want the “used – acceptable” replacement you find on certain websites, because the last copy was printed in 1986?  well worry not because now there’s a new Casca 3 out, and I have the only supply.

Email me for a copy, as my shop is currently out of action.

Saracen or not Saracen?

Need some input from you good Casca readers. Some years ago I wrote a Casca story that linked the end of Casca 19 (The Samurai) with the beginning of Casca 22 (The Mongol). The story was never published at the time as I was informed readers wouldn’t like it as it had Casca fighting for the Muslims during the time of the Crusades (The story is entitled The Saracen). I would really like to release it – it covers the period 1185-1189 and the events that preceded the Third Crusade (although the story doesn’t cover it). The main battles here are the Battle of Hattin and the Siege of Jerusalem. Would you like it or not? I won’t be offended if you say no – I just need to know for sure whether or not to put it forward for release in 2019.
